This roof was way past its life expectancy and could start leaking if it wasn't repaired. Our crew removed the old shingles, taped over all the seams on the plywood roof deck, installed the synthetic underlayment, and re-shingled with IKO's Dynasty shingles.
Besides having a nicer-looking roof, they also have our no-leak warranty!
While preparing their house for sale, this owner knew the attic insulation was not adequate (see BEFORE photo) and would be an issue for a home buyer.
Our insulation crew blew in TruSoft cellulose insulation (see AFTER photo) to the R-49 level, helping to make this house ready for sale!
This owner's roof was leaking, and he had been advised to replace it (rather than repairing it). He found us online and called for an appointment.
When a roof older than 10 years is leaking, we do advise to replace it. Otherwise, you are continually doing repairs as the leaks happen, and the water can damage your whole home plus cause mold to grow!
The home was re-roofed with IKO's Dynsty asphalt shingles. Under those shingles are a special underlayment that helps protect against leaks, so the owner doesn't have to worry any more!
The leak in this Oregon coast home's roof was getting everything in the attic wet. She chose our roof replacement and IKO's Dynasty asphalt shingles.
Our crew removed the old roof, laid down a new "ice & water" underlayment to help prevent leaks, installed the stainless steel trim metal edges specifically made for coastal homes, and used stainless steel nails specifically for use on the coast to nail down the IKO shingles.
It's a better-looking roof now and won't be leaking into the attic!
As anyone who lives on the Oregon coast knows, the wind and rain can age a roof faster than on inland homes.
Our installation crew removed the old, damaged roof, stuck down a new underlayment, and replaced the old shingles and ridge vents with IKO shingles.
